Galaxy S5 has been launch at the MWC 2014 event, it was held in Barcelona lastweek. As usual, all smartphones dont have long lasting battery and has been sell for high price. But for this time, Samsung has his own way to solve this mystery. On the Galaxy S5 5 it has one unique feature called Ultra Power Saving Mode. This features is use to saving up your battery.

With this mode, your battery saved from 10& of your battery capacity that can long last up to 24 hours. Do you believe? What make it can save up the battery? Alright, let me tell you – the Ultra Power Saving  Mode will only let you use the important things, like calls, text messages, and few apps. But you still can choose which apps that not require high battery usage to put on the list that will allow you to use when you turn on the Mode.

Samsung Going To Release Galaxy Gear 2 Soon

As we all know that Samsung has officially announced date and time for their “Unpacked” event for the first time this year. The event will be held in Barcelona, MWC this 24th February to launch their hottest device so called Samsung Galaxy S5.

Let me tell you, the first Samsung’s plan is to launch a new wearable device together along with the S5 yet they had some sort of problems launching them together. But still, the wearable device Galaxy Gear 2 is still coming but a little bit late.

The first Galaxy Gear was okay, but the pricey tag, limited functionality and poor UI – and lets not to forget the battery life has small capacity.

Well, you can see at the flyer SAMSUNG UNPACKED 2014 EPISODE 1, so this mean we will get to see the Galaxy Gear 2 soon enough. Can you imagine, Galaxy S5 and new powered smartwatch on your hand? How cool this modern day technology, day by day things getting better and cooler.

Samsung Release Galaxy S4 & S4 Mini On Black

Samsung changes a bit their device Galaxy S4 and S4 Mini with new color and new back cover. They changed it to faux-leather that can be found at the back of Galaxy Note 3. They released the black edition last week on friday.
Other than that, the Galaxy S4 black edition still remain the same as it predecessor with the specs given. 5-inch Full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 13MP rear camera and run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Black Edition also has the same specs and only the cosmetic changed.  The display screen remains 4.3-inch, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB memory storage, 8MP rear camera, 1,900mAh battery capacity, and still run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

As for reminders, they only change the back cover to the faux-leather and nothing else. The software, hardware and specs didn’t change. For now, the black edition smartphones only can be found at Russian website online selling and no official announcement for this device will launch globally.

Samsung Launch Galaxy Grand Neo

Samsung has officially  announced the new device called Galaxy Grand Neo AKA Galaxy Grand Lite.

As we can see the device comes with with latest technology yet a bit disappointment when it didn’t support the 4G LTE connection. Lets take a look from the specs, Grand Neo come with 5-inch display screen with 800x480p resolution, powered by A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM.

Other than that, Grand Neo has 5MP for the rear cameras and with 0.3MP VGA cameras for the secondary. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with 2,100 mAh.

The phones is already on the Netherlands online market.  But still not sure whether it’s coming to the UK or not. Until now, we can’t give a specific date for the release, yet the good news is, every country will receive this device and Malaysia is counted in. There’s still no date when it will comes, but it will not take much time.

Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note 2 will receive Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update?

Old flagships smartphones users stop wondering, because Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note 2 will receive the latest Android update. Now Android 4.4.2  KitKat is on rollout for Samsung Galaxy Note 3. And Samsung still thinking about the old devices will receive or not the latest update.

Just keep believing that the rumors are becoming true. Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 will be getting the Android 4.4.2 update in the latest April this year. A news comes from Android Geeks giving a schedule for the updates for both devices rollout will start at the end of this March.

They said, while the updates for Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 just out on couples of countries for a moment, they should release the rollout for S III and Note II as fast as possible, but we’ll just have to wait a little more and see what happens. They don’t want like the previous cases where a new Android software update took a long time to arrive.

Samsung Malaysia Offers New Color Options In Malaysia

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was previously released September last year with the Galaxy Gear SmartWatch, a true companion for the device. Firstly, the Gear were compatible only with the Note 3 but since they have supported other device by updating their device like the S2, S3 or the Galaxy S4 to the latest Android 4.3.

The first color options are offered is Jet black and white only, and the new color is Merlot Red and Blush Pink. But that’s not all, they also added a Rose Gold accents to the new editions.

For your information the Gear itself has many colors, Lime Green,  Jet Black, Wild Orange, Mocha Grey, Oatmeal Beige and Rose Gold. The Blush Pink and Merlot Red limited edition Galaxy Note III’s are available now, you can get it at Samsung Brand Stores and authorised retailers. Malaysia’s top telco operators will be offering these colors too, Maxis, DiGi, and Celcom will start offering the Rose Gold White and Rose Gold Black edition Galaxy Note III from January 22 onwards.

New TouchWiz UI Coming with Samsung Galaxy S5

@ evleaks release some pictures that give us a glimpse of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI will be included in samsung flagship device that will be launched this year.

@ evleaks which is renowned leakster for providing accurate information , Samsung is exploring a new TouchWiz UI. The latest generation of UI is seen more simplified and possibly more stable than the TouchWiz UI that currently used on the like of Galaxy S4. The new UI design is also seen to have a lower color descriptions and more concerned with aesthetic round design.

In addition, the ‘ home screen’ in new UI also comes with a number of ‘ widgets ‘ new but still unknown to the actual function ‘ widgets ‘ is .

We expect that Samsung will prepare a new version of the TouchWiz UI and is expected to be launched with the Galaxy S5 which most report pointing to a launch on February (maybe at MWC). Although there is no official confirmation, it is more logical to say Samsung will hold a separate launch event just like previous year. we really cant wait for the launch of the Galaxy S5 which is around one and half months away and price it the crucial thing that will determine the device success.

Samsung Galaxy F Will Launch Along Side Galaxy S5

Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone are fully completed with good specs for Android device, yet there’s still one problem that makes consumer disappointed. Galaxy S4 still using the same old plastic body for the back. Because of this were hoping that Samsung will change the game plan. Will Samsung change the plastic body to metal? There’s a report from ETNews, saying Samsung will introduce one more new version of smartphone that looks luxury that uses metal-based form, known as Galaxy F. The Galaxy F is expected will be announce together with the Galaxy S5, the one peoples waiting for.

According to the latest report, Samsung has started a factory that producing metal body in Vietnam for the Galaxy S5.  Before this, there’s a report that tells Samsung planning to launch a smartphone  based on metal with a codename SM-G900F.

Galaxy F might be one of the metal smartphones priority with the Galaxy S5. For now, we still don’t know whether the device will have a good specs. Some saying the Galaxy F will come with QHD 2K display with 2560x1600p resolution. For your information there’s still no official report from Samsung.

Samsung Announce The Galaxy S4 Mini La Fleur Edition

Like always, Samsung will release a special versions of some its devices with floral patterns. The latest one is the Galaxy S4 Mini  La  Fleur, which is following the footsteps of the S3 Mini from january.

Galaxy S4 Mini is launched together with the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Zoom. The new version of the smartphones is based on the Red Aurora color but features a floral pattern.

While talking about it, lets take a look from the specs. It still remains the same, with 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, Qualcoom MSM8930 dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, 4MP rear camera, 1.9MP secondary camera and a 1900mAh battery capacity.

The phone will be available in January next year around RM1870 price point. The Galaxy  S4 Mini La Fleur was shown in Germany, but there’s no info which countries will get the devices.
